We support members of the HBS community--and club members in particular--in their pursuit of careers in the hotel, restaurant, airline, gaming, spa, online travel, and real estate industries.
We do this through 2 main activities:
Resume books and reviews: The club maintains an opt-in, members-only Resume Book that is distributed to exclusive contacts at companies who have a relationship with the club.
The books are distributed to these companies via official channels in MBA Career Services. There is one book collected for ECs (second-years) in late August and early September for full-time recruiting, and one for RCs (first-years) in October for summer internship recruiting. The club's
officers and members who have experience pursuing and working in jobs in the industry also provide resume reviews to interested students before they post to the Resume Book. Only club members who are current full-time MBA students may participate.
More details will be sent via e-mail in the Fall.
Hospitality Industry Week: Conducted in the Fall and organized by the MBA Career Services Office, Hospitality Industry Week brings to campus full-time professionals (most of whom are HBS alumni), industry analysts, and current
students with experience in hotels, restaurants, airlines, gaming, spas, online travel, and real estate. The industry week is open to all current students in the HBS community and, for 2008, is scheduled for September 22-25, just before members depart for the Las Vegas Trek.
HBS Students: please visit HBS Career Services or consult their website on myHBS for further details.
