National Coming Out Day at HBS

HBS celebrates
National Coming Out Day (NCOD) every October.
The LGBT Student Association delivers rainbow ribbon stickers
to all students, along with information about the day. It's
incredible to sit in class and see the vast majority of your classmates
wearing the rainbow to show their support! You will be amazed.
On NCOD, many LGBT students choose to explain the personal
significance of the day to their sections via email or an in-class
announcement.
During lunch, we sponsor a table to provide more information
to interested students. A favorite is the quiz on LGBT topics
(everything from workplace discrimination to Madonna). Two lucky
respondents to the quiz win a raffle prize!
